PAGEANT – How the rainbow works
Artastic’s cast of 140 performers create a colourful spectacle that represents how all the colours under the sun traveling in a straight line appear white. But when that light moves through the two faces of the prism, the different colours bend different amounts and in doing so spread out into a rainbow. In a rainbow, raindrops in the air act as tiny prisms. Light enters the raindrop, reflects off of the side of the drop and exits. Artastic create the eyeball observers between the colourful raindrop and the sun, and finish with IRIS, the Greek Goddess of the rainbow. Click here to learn more.
